I know, I know, I'm sorry. I make another promise to do another blog entry and fail to provide. The truth is I've had a really rough couple of weeks and writing a blog has been one of the last things on my mind.
It all started a little over a year ago, I was rushed into a hospital after a nasty bout of food poisoning. Well at least I thought it was food poisoning, it turns out I was suffering from ulcerative colitis (although they never knew it was exactly that until a few months ago, they could never figure out if it was ulcerative colitis or crohn's disease). Severely, and I had never known. The symptoms had been there for a while but really mildly, so much so my doctor had never pieced it together. Unfortunately by the time they had figured out if wasn't food poisoning (or just a tummy bug as some of the nurses believed) it was too late, my bowls had perforated and I was rushed into the operating room, where they had perforated a few more times on the operating table itself. There was no way they could repair them in time, and that resulted in me receiving my very own colostomy bag. Unfortunately my body hasn't taken to that as well as it should have, this means I do tend to get a lot of bugs, a lot of tired days and a lot of days when I just don't want to go out.
Why am I telling you this? Well, I'm just hoping that you understand that some days I'm not the hyper, bouncy ball of giggles and smiles that I seem to be, and on those days it's really hard to blog. Lately I've been under a lot of stress, and it had got to me really badly. Sad face. No worries though because uber happy Cherry Neko is back. The horrible stuff I've been stressing about has been dealt with and is over for now, so I don't need to worry about them any more.
I know, that maybe you didn't really want to know, or need to know about this but it felt nice for me to get it off my chest.
I promise my posts will not all be as glum as this one, I am after all not a generally glum person.
Thanks for reading, treat yourself to some sweets!

Magneto and Metal
Konichiwa blogging world!
Sorry I never actually blogged last week after I promised I would, but unfortunately a few personal matters caught up to me and has left my mind all frazzled and mush. Hopefully after Tuesday I should be back to my old strange and odd ways, instead of sitting at the laptop and staring right through it.
I apologize but my writing skills are being slowly diminished the more and more I'm stressing out at the minute, but don't worry I haven't completely abandoned you folks. That's just insane. Yes, I may be a little bonkers (all the best people are), but outright straight-jacket insane I am not...though apparently there's still time. Who knows I might rock the straight-jacket look. Someday, but not right now.
So here I am, writing, as Danny quotes Anchorman at me like some crazed fan. Oh, now he's singing the Zelda theme. He's just as strange and geeky as me, yay!
So last week, in between the bad bits there was a few good bits. Danny decided to take me out for the day to get my mind of things, and I ended up having a brilliant day. We went to see X-Men First Class, which I absolutely loved. I love X-Men, and it was nice to see an adaptation that still had its roots from the comic. That aside, the film was amazing. Brilliant story and brilliant actors, although I have to say that Michael Fassbender stole the whole show for me. He was amazing as Magneto and I really couldn't imagine anyone else in that role any more.
Then afterwards I went and got a new piercing. Which lands me at 13, it would have been 15 but unfortunately when I was in hospital a while ago I had to take them out for surgery. I had my navel pierced from when I was about 14, but my whole stomach had to be cut open from the middle and unfortunately my belly button is just part of a huge scar now sadly. I also had my nose pierced, and I had it done not long before getting rushed in. they made me take it out so they could shove their pipes down my nose. By the time I could have them removed my nose had healed up. I miss my piercings. For some reason they felt like they had become apart of me, and now they've been taken away, which requires a sad face from me.
Any way my new piercing is in my left ear, in a place called the snug. I love it, but I got no photo's of it at the moment because it's all swollen and bruised while it's healing, as soon as it's better though I'll put up a photo.
It was a good day and it really cheered me up. So thank you Danny.
There was another day out, and I really do actually plan on blogging about it tomorrow. I promise. So in the meantime just think about Unicorns, cookies and polka dot skirts. It will all make sense soon.

Hell Razor Love
I've had such a good week. It's certainly made up for last weeks lack of fun. However, today I'm here to spread the word of Hell Razor. I'll blog tomorrow about other things that have happened this week but for now I give you HELL RAZOR.

I've followed Jen's bloggy goodness for a while now, before I joined the world of blogs. Her's is just so much fun to read and I suggest everyone out there who isn't busy making snow angels goes and checks it out. Don't worry, I'll wait here for you to have a nose through it first,
...
you done? See? Brilliant isn't it.
Anyway I read a while ago, that she was offering out some stickers with her little logo on and I couldn't help but to ask for one. To my sheer joy she said yes and so I began the waiting game and I waited patiently. The when I popped home briefly on Wednesday I was really happy to have a nice little envelope waiting for me. I knew what it was because it had Hell Razor stamped all pretty in the corner. I couldn't wait to open. So I didn't wait. I was soooo excited. I love getting mail. There's just something exciting about getting something to open that isn't telling you that your bills are ridiculously expensive or that the newest Gym around the corner thinks that you are overweight and that you should go to their gym for the small price of an arm and a leg. So with a huge grin on my face I opened the envelope, and was surprised to not only get one sticker, but three. It doesn't stop there though, I also go a cute little badge, two of the cutest small business cards and a thank you card. Thank me? I should be thanking her. So this is my way of spreading the Hell Razor word.
Oooooh presents!
How cool is that swallow? It was on the envelope. I'm in love. It will reside on my wall of random awesome pictures.
She also has her own little Etsy shop. It's filled with pretty delights, which you should definitely go and have a look at.
These are my three favourite pieces, and I'm hoping to get some moneys so I can buy at least one of them and wear it pride.

That little leopard print bow is super kawaii and I want it!
Yes all my favourite pieces have little skulls on, but that's just because I love skulls, but there's plenty of other little pretty bits to spend your pennies on.
So far, I've got one sticker on Sasquatch my sewing machine, and it suits her a lot. Another one of my stickers has been swiped from me by Danny. He stuck it on the front of his sketch pad and it looks really cool. A business card has also been swiped by a friend, and the badge is worn proudly on my bag.
The photo didn't look so blurry when I took it, damn those photo pixies for wrecking it.
So please go and check her shop and blog out.
Thanks Jen, for making the world a little more pretty.

Being Sick Sucks
Sorry I haven't been around lately. Unfortunately I've had a really horrible stomach bug, which has taken away my will to move or do anything really. But I'm finally starting to feel much better, and hopefully tomorrow I'll be back on my feet completely, because if I am I'm going to see X-Men First Class. Yay! I can't wait. I love comic books and I love comic book movies. Even when they're terrible. I've been told it's amazing though by some of my fellow comic geeks, so I'm really excited.
Afterwards I'm going to go and get my tattoo coloured in again. I got my third tattoo on my birthday, I'd been saving up for it. I had it placed in my elbow crease and it wouldn't heal right so the colours haven't settled properly. So the guys at Design 4 Life (my favourite place to get tattooed and pierced) told me to pop back in and they'd fill it in again. For free. So I'm really looking forward to that too.
So while I've been stuck in, Danny has been trying his hardest to keep my spirits up. I'm really lucky to have such a caring boyfriend. So that meant a lot of film watching, quite a few good films and unfortunately some bad films. My favourite of the week has been a Korean fantasy film called Woochi, it was amazing. I recommend it to anyone who loves fantasy films, it felt like what Sorcerer's Apprentice should have been. Just an amazing piece of cinema and some brilliant comedy performances. I can't wait to watch it again.
I can't say the same for Suckerpunch. This was the film I was really looking forward too the most as well. I just didn't like it. I haven't read the graphic novel, I still intend to though, maybe the film just didn't do it justice. The film had so much potential, unfortunately some of the actors just didn't sit right with me and I found it just to damn predictable for a film that was obviously trying so hard to have a twist. I loved the fantasy fight sequences though. The fighting was beautifully executed and reminded me of the fight sequences often found in animes. In fact I think the film might have been better as an anime.
In between the endless hours of film watching I decided to dye my wonderful green hair blue. I don't like it as much as my green and it was rushed so it's not as blue as I would have liked it to turn out, but I spent a while pretending I was Nightcrawler and bamfed around the room till I could bamf no more.
Then I took a bath with my awesome new floaty duck, Syd. He's yellow, he's cool and he loves to bop around in the water while listening to music. He seems to really like Halestorm. I keep thinking I should make a playlist for when I get a bath. Has anyone else actually got one for their bath time? What do you like to listen to?
Well I'm off to paint my nails, neon green and midnight blue. Speak to you all soon.

This is a picture from the first day, the little red heart needs refilling now sadly. I got the lily for my mum, and the pink hearts for my sister and the red heart for my dad. They've all helped me through a rough time the past couple of years and it's my way to remember all they've done for me.

What do you think is better? Tongue pulling blue or fringe attacking green?

Cherry Neko and the Case of the Dead Batteries
How much fun is it to have the house to yourself and blast out your favourite music? Of course there's the obligatory sing as loud and terrible as you can to the music, and in my case the odd jump and the important moshing. I've discovered the best way to dry hair is by waving your head around like a lunatic, but I like my hair to look messy. Currently I've got the latest Foo Fighter album on, so I'm a very happy bunny indeed. They're my favourite band of all time and have been for over a decade now, sure they've done some crappy songs but then there's the epic songs that cancel the bad songs. So I've spent most of my morning moshing around the room and trying my hardest to fight the urge to jump on the bed like a big kid.
I also done something productive, a new choker. It's a piece of light green ribbon with a small Hello Kitty! charm on. I love it and the whole point of me turning on the laptop was to put up a photo, so I turned on my laptop, sat down, put my necklace down on a backing, to make it look a little more professional because that's what they do...I think? Any way, I got it all ready and turned my camera on...and then it turned itself off. So I turned it back on, then it turned itself off again. Yep, I knew it. The batteries have died, and me being the silly girl I am, has forgotten to by more. Even been on a list for months now. I should really start picking up my shopping lists with me. So that being said, my necklace is cute, use your imagination for now. Please don't try and imagine this magnificent and wonderful piece that could never be duplicated though, because then you'll feel let down, and then I'd feel bad for letting you down and have to go out and buy you some chocolate. And don't tell me your disappointed just so you can get a free chocolate bar, that won't work. Though now I feel guilty for not giving you any chocolate, hmmmm, I'll let you share some of mine instead.
See, I'm not all bad. ~fixes my crooked halo~, damn thing keeps slipping.
I've got to go in a minute, I'm off to the boyfriends for a few days. He's promised to take me to see the Hang Over part 2 tomorrow so I'm very excited, then hopefully we're going to pick up a zombie film for the night time.
Bye

Necklaces, Earrings and Danny oh my
Danny's better, hurrah! He's returned and he's no longer sick. So I'm a happy and worry free Cherry Neko once more.
Any way, hello blogging world. How are you all today? Here in England its been raining pretty heavy, which has added to my happy happy mood today. I love the rain, I love the smell of it, I love standing outside in it (especially with my uber cute umbrella, which I'll have to get a photo of) and I really love the sound of it. So what if it gives you a cold every now and then, at least it doesn't make you skin fry. Although sunny rain makes me smile too, so I guess I won't hate the sun that much.
This morning I sat down and I made my first pair of earrings ever, and my second attempt at a necklace. It's a bit better than my first attempt, it just proves that practice definitely helps.
Sorry about the quality on the photo's my boyfriends the photoshop wiz not me.
I'm really enjoying making jewellery, it's lots of fun. Plus I have these really cute small pliers which help me a lot because I have freakishly small sized hands (my friends words not mine). My hands are so small that I can't wear bangles because they just fall off, I have to buy tiny rings too. So having some small pliers that don't feel like they're going to fall out of my hands every time I try and squeeze them together is nice. Even though my hands are freakishly small they're one of my favourite parts of my body. Odd I know, but it's always nice to like something about yourself, even if its just the little things.
I'm off now to venture into the rain and have some more adventures, who knows what I'll do today but I'm hoping it's going to be fun.
Have a nice day!

Yes, he's a skeleton AND a detective. Problem?
Phew! What a week I've had. It seems I've been rushing around non-stop, I've barely had time to blog and when I have sat down at Ema (the name of the laptop) my brains just been frazzled and putting word to screen became an impossible task. Pfft, stupid brain. I don't know what I pay her for, all she does is sit around all day and daydream. I'll let her off though, it seems that she's returned back to her old self today, being all thinky and stuff. It couldn't come at a better time either, for my wonderful boyfriend has got a poor tummy, so he's in bed at his mum's house while I have to sit here and entertain myself. I miss him a lot, it just seems too damn quiet. Maybe some cyber-get-well-wishes are what he needs, in that case, GET WELL SOON DANNY!!! ... or else ~shakes fist menacingly~.
So without my boyfriend to keep me occupied, it's been up to me to find fun ways to pass the time. And that's why I'd like to thank the magnificent Derek Landy for the creation of Skulduggery Pleasant. I love those books!!! I have a mini-obsession with Skulduggery, it's my favourite book series. It knocked The Vampire Chronicles series by Anne Rice from being my number one book series, a place it held since I was very, very young. I may be older now, but something about this character just makes me feel like I should be sneaking up late at night with a torch under the bed covers to read it. It provides a warm ooey and gooey feeling inside.
So I've been happily re-reading the first book today curled up in a blanket, listening to the rain, eating cakes and drinking tea. What a perfect way to spend some "me" time. Is there any books you love to read when you're having your "me-time" and do you drink tea or coffee?
Though I have to say I don't like this whole Danny being sick thing. It unnerves me. I'm not used to it and all I keep thinking about is what things I love when I'm having a sick day and how he hasn't got them with him. Not that they'd probably make him feel any better but it's just one of those things. I get sick quite a bit thanks to my wonderful immune system and a bad case of ulcerative colitus. So when I'm sick I love to hug Flufflez the penguin and have my Oogie cushion nearby while I watch a load of Studio Ghibli films, then as I'm going to sleep I put my Nintendo Star night-light on.
I know it's a bit childish to have a night-light but I only use it when I'm sick, and it really cheers me up. It's not the fact that it's a light, it's the fact that it's a Nintendo Star. I have collected them for a few years now, not sure when my little collection started but I have a few Stars now and I loved them all. Then I met Danny and one of the first things I noticed about him what that he has a Nintendo Star tattoo!!! I couldn't believe my luck, and so now I have another star for my collection, that's the reason I'm with him, promise. It just seems like another one of those things that convinces me that he was definitely made for me.
I've got to go now, my belly's begging for food (I hope it likes pizza).
Have a good Tuesday folks.
