It's raining so I'm smiling!

Yay! I'm so happy, I've been listening to the rain all night long.  I love the rain, I even love being outside in it.  Oh yeah, I'm just that hardcore.  Wellies are for whimps!!!  Although I really like wellies too, I just wanted to seem tough haha.

How are you all, people from around the world?  Got much rain at the minute?

The sad thing is, I can't really go out in in that much.  Once again disaster has struck Cherry Neko.  I think I may be cursed.  But I've been trying my hardest not to let it get to me.  What's the disaster this time? Meteorite heading for earth? Dracula risen from his grave? Nope.  Nothing as fun as that.  This time comes in the form of crutches.  Urgh!  I hate crutches.  I do not have the ability to balance in normal day life never mind with crutches. Last Monday I was whisked away to A&E by my boyfriend after complaining that my foot was hurting all weekend.  By Monday morning it had ballooned up and it impossible to stand on.  So to the hospital I was dragged, I had to stand on my bad foot for a few hours while I waited to be seen, X-Rayed and told that I have extra bones in my foot and they'e become inflamed.  So how do I fix this?  Apparently, I don't.  I was told to I had to deal with it until it goes down and to take plenty of pain killers and use the dreaded crutches.

So needless to say I've been a little immobile and loopy of drugs (the legal kind of course).  This also meant that I didn't get to see Cabin in the Woods last week, and I was absolutely gutted.  Danny has promised that when it comes out and I'm better he'll take me to see it.  Whenever it's advertised on TV I yell t the screen like some crazed woman, "it's mocking me!"  Oh well.  Hopefully I'll get to see it soon.  Unless I fall to some other ancient curse and end up waking up a Mummy or something.  If I do, I hope it's from the Universal Monster era.  That's when monsters rocked!

I didn't let it wreck my Easter either.  In fact, I gotta say I was a little spoilt on Easter and Danny brought me a huge Cadbury egg.  Along with the ones from my parents and my sister.  I got a good haul.  Eating a Cadbury Roses egg as I type nom nom nom.  Been catching up on my Netflix too.  Watched Supersize Me, and I found it really interesting.  I just couldn't believe the effects of one month of McDonalds could do to a person.  I also just finished Trekkies.  Didn't enjoy that as much, I'm not a Trekkie myself, and though I don't judge people who are, I felt that there was something missing from the documentary and I just can't place it.  Plus a lot of the editing was terrible.  Now to spend the day watching cheesy horrors and such.

  4. Boo! That sucks! I hope you start feeling better and the swelling goes down. I know how you feel. I had both my feet operated on, one after another. I was in a wheelchair for 5 months and that sucked.

    1. The swellings starting to disappear whoopie!!!
Oh no, I hope both of your feet are better now. I wish I had a wheelchair though, wouldn't have been stuck in for months. But then I wouldn't wish that upon anyone.
